V3 is released for internet streaming in 1080p HD

  • May 6, 2013 at 11:48 pm
Thank you again to all of you who have followed and supported our project. It has been a long year but we are finally crossing the finish line. Starting tonight “V3” will be available via internet streaming for all to see and enjoy.

We encourage you to forward the website link to anyone who you think might appreciate the finished film. And as part of our experiment with the new ways of distributing film we are releasing it for free with the option for anyone who sees it to contribute a small donation if they see fit. For those of you who worked on or helped fund the film, well congratulations, you’ve already paid!

Spread the word!

V3 Festival update

  • April 30, 2013 at 11:48 pm
Well, it appears that V3 will not be playing the Seattle film festival this year. I have not received an official rejection but they published the list of selected films earlier today and we are not on it… So I think it’s safe to say that we’re not invited. You rarely find out why you don’t make the cut but I think it’s reasonable to assume that playing the Spokane fest earlier this year did not help. Seattle is very big on premiers and they may have felt we already had our big Washington show. So, in the next few weeks we will explore our options and also prepare for some sort of DVD and/or Internet based release as soon as it seems prudent.

Ellensburg Screening of “V3”

  • January 15, 2013 at 7:23 pm
We have scheduled the cast/crew/investor screening of V3. Date: February 21, 2013 Time: 7:30pm Where: Grand Meridian Cinemas, Ellensburg Everyone who worked on the film or contributed to the Kickstarter campaign is invited to attend. We will put out an RSPV notice in the near future to make sure that we have seats for everyone who wants to see the film. But save the date! And be sure to pass word to anyone involved with the film – we want this to be a celebration of what can be accomplished with naive determination.

V3 – Festival Screening

  • January 8, 2013 at 12:55 pm
We have been invited by the Spokane International Film Festival to be part of their closing day festivities. Here’s what I know so far. Saturday, February 9, 2013 2pm – filmmaker panel discussion 4:30pm – V3 world premiere screening 9pm – closing night party More details should be available when the festival’s website goes live this next weekend. This is a festival screening so I don’t control any of the tickets and can’t guarantee how many people we can get into this show. So far, I believe that Zepha, Todd, and myself plan on attending. Anyone else from our cast/crew who wants to go is welcome to also participate in the filmmaker panel discussion. It’s an honor to be selected for closing day and everyone involved should be proud of that accomplishment. And I know that most people can’t make a drive to Spokane just to see a movie so details on a local Ellensburg screening will be announced soon! Jon

News still coming soon!

Hi All – Still putting the final touches together on the announcement but I am a bit under the the weather today so it might take a bit longer than I had hoped before I can share the news. Sorry. Just remember – patience is a virtue! Jon

Scott – 2nd Update

  • September 29, 2012 at 6:14 pm
The good thoughts paid off. The surgeon determined that a drug-treatment approach was better solution than brain surgery and so for now, Scott, avoids going under the knife! He should be home in Yakima by the end of the weekend. Big relief for all involved!
